Because i don’t have enough work for it to do. I don’t own a trailer, and i rarely carry heavy loads. We’ve downsized to an f150 that is more comfortable for my family to ride in. Note: i've had several inquiries on the truck, so i'll answer a few questions here. The miles are low because the truck originally worked at the copper mine. They're not highway miles, but they're carefully controlled miles. As a mechanic i talked to about it said, "they maintain the heck out of those trucks." the grit at the mine knocked a lot of paint off the rocker panels. The guys at dent master have done several of these trucks, and they told me this was the cleanest they'd seen. They didn't have to replace any metal. The truck has a few door dings and chips in the paint, and the inside of the bed has some dents--it is, after all, nine years old. There are some fine scratches on the outside of the driver's and front passenger's windows, again from the grit at the mine. There is a small, crescent shaped piece of plastic missing at the bottom of the speedometer display. It's away from the gauges and hasn't caused any problems. I don't know how it happened; it was this way when i got the truck. I'm not aware of any significant problems with the truck. I haven't figured out how to get the cargo light to turn on, and someday, the carrier bearing and slip yoke (in the middle of the driveline) may have to be replaced. My mechanic said this isn't hurting anything and to run it awhile, and it hasn't gotten any worse over the last year. The truck shifts very smoothly and handles well, apart from the stiff ride when running around empty. It's a great truck that i had planned to keep for a long time until my wife and kids convinced me to get an f150 with a gentle ride. Power Windows✔ Cruise Control✔ Air Conditioning
