Due to the smaller 6cylinder engine these Silverado have and that it's a manual it gets great gas mileage while still maintaining the functionality of a full sized truck. I don't have any issues with this truck I'm just running out of room and don't use it much anymore.. The owner before me put a newer engine of the same kind into it and it's been great
